This course will build upon the fundamentals discussed in the Introduction to Options seminar.
Using different combinations and quantities of options we will develop and understand some advanced options strategies. These will include ratios, butterflies, condors, and volatility spreads. The student will be introduced to delta neutral trading strategies and the relationship between the five Greek risk parameters. This will lead us into learning about volatility curves and modeling options values.
The class will examine some complex positions and learn how these are managed in the real world. We will also reexamine expiration and learn how to manage this crucial time profitably.
The course will examine advanced topics in options and use a profit and loss diagram to analyze various scenarios. As in our introduction course, relevant examples and real world case studies will be provided.
